Welcome Back!

I am so excited to start another school year! Although I definitely spent time relaxing and recharging my battery, our awesome administration asked us to read and ruminate about one of our initiatives for the year, growth mindsets. Each Tritt faculty member read Carol Dwek's book, Mindset: The New Psychology of Success. Reflecting on its tenets and application to my teaching, I was reminded of the poem below. It's my mission to continue to live by this creed as I help our students "launch" their use of technology in the classroom, the ILC (Innovative Learning Commons), and beyond. Thank you for supporting the TTF which funds the job that I LOVE!! #readyforthe2017-2018schoolyear!!

    try out my ideas,
    experience what's around me,
    share what I find;

    plenty of time for 
    my special pace,
    a nourishing space,
    things to transform;

    my patient friend,
    trusted guide,
    fellow investigator,
    partner in learning;

Then I will
    explore the world,
    discover my voice,
    and tell you what I know
    in a hundred languages.
