About MeHi! I’m Courtney Pascual, and I’m delighted to be your friendly neighborhood Technology Lab Teacher at Tritt. As we begin the 2025–2026 school year, I’m celebrating my 12th year at Tritt and my 28th year in education—years filled with curiosity, creativity, and a deep love for helping students discover how they learn best.
Before finding my home at Tritt, I spent 15 wonderful years at The Westminster Schools, where I had the opportunity to wear many hats: technology instructor, fifth-grade reading and language arts teacher, and junior high reading teacher. (On particularly busy days, it felt like all three at once—with just enough caffeine to keep things interesting.) I’ve also had the privilege of supporting fellow educators through InTech, Georgia’s technology integration program developed at Kennesaw State University. I hold a B.A. in Elementary Education from Stetson University and an M.Ed. in Reading, Language, and Literacy Education from Georgia State University—credentials that sound quite impressive until tested by a room full of inquisitive fifth graders. I am currently working toward a Specialist degree in Instructional Technology, continuing to deepen my passion for innovative, student-centered learning. I’ve also been trained in arts integration, and I recently graduated from Cobb’s Leadership Academy with a STEM focus—experiences that continue to shape how I design meaningful, engaging learning opportunities for students. In 2020, I became a certified Project Lead the Way Launch Teacher, diving headfirst into a world of problem-based, hands-on learning. This experience transformed my approach to teaching, and today my students and I explore the engineering design process through what I like to call “learning that feels suspiciously like play.” When I’m not exploring coding or guiding students through creative problem-solving, you’ll likely find me cooking for family and friends, kayaking or canoeing, or walking and running along the Chattahoochee River. I also enjoy gardening, hiking (occasionally with a questionable sense of direction), and spending meaningful time with my family—often blending all of the above into one adventure. |
