CRTC Tips and Hints
Registration for the 2021 Virtual Cobb Regional Technology Competition is NOW OPEN. Please read the information below carefully. Thank you for reading to the end.
New Registration Platform:
This year, the Georgia Student Technology Competition is offering a new platform for GaSTC Regions, including the CRTC, for registration and judging purposes. This platform was created for Science Fairs, and does not currently include an option to list school or advisor.
· This NEW REGISTRATION SITE will require students to CREATE AN ACCOUNT.
· If working with a teacher through the school, the student may wish to wait to register with the teacher after the break so they may help facilitate the process.
· All students must REGISTER BY Sunday, FEBRUARY 28, 2021. Registration fees must be postmarked by March 1, 2021. (see below)
· Please WRITE DOWN USERNAME AND PASSWORD for the new account. An email and text message will be sent to the contact information included during the registration process. Please be sure to type the email both times, and not copy and paste. If it’s typed incorrectly the first time, and then copy and pasted, you will not receive any updates.
· This is a one stop account where students will upload all their project submission videos and any files they wish to include that pertain to their submission.
· Once registered, students will have until March 7, 2021 to upload their projects into their account. It is not necessary to begin uploading anything immediately after registering. After March 7, the platform will be locked.
· If working with a TEACHER or other facilitator, PLEASE INCLUDE THEIR EMAIL in the secondary email option. There is NO OPTION FOR SCHOOL.
This platform will automatically elevate first place winners for the state level Georgia Student Technology Competition, which will be virtual again this year. Students who place first at CRTC will not have to upload to a new platform for the state competition. Changes and improvements can be made to projects ahead of the GaSTC which will be judged later in the spring.

Thank you!
The registration platform is an independent web site for registration purposes only (students and judges). The CRTC web site is still the home site for the Cobb Regional Technology Competition.
Thank you for your patience as we navigate this new system together. I am excited we are still able to offer this opportunity to our students and look forward to holding the competition in-person again. Thank you for reading this to the end, and I wish you and your family a wonderful season and Happy New Year. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with questions.
